Albuquerque Neon is a six-part documentary video series I executive produced with director, Andre Ross, for the City of Albuquerque Department of Arts & Culture. Shot on the streets of Albuquerque and on location on Route 66, aka Central Avenue, Ross and I interviewed dozens of people about the legacy of Albuquerque’s historic Route 66 signage. The project was funded by a grant I wrote for the National Park Service Route 66 Corridor Preservation Office grant program. It was fun to learn about our city’s beloved monikers, mom-and-pop businesses, and neighborhood history. Take a peek and drop a comment!

One Albuquerque, One Hundred Poets

Over twenty-five years in book publishing, I’ve had the pleasure of creating lots of books, including poetry, nonfiction, and kids’ titles. Click on the book covers above to read more about the books I helped birth.

Let’s Explore Albuquerque was one of my lead special projects for CABQ. Eight local artists, a freelance writer, and CABQ staff created an educational and fun book for kids that we got to give away–to the tune of 20,000 copies. Win win!! (photo by CABQ Arts & Culture)
